2. Changes and Cancellations: Modifications to dates or services must be requested at least 7 days prior. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the full deposit. Refunds for earlier cancellations are issued minus a processing fee.
3. Pricing Structure: Quotes are calculated on factors like volume, distance, and add-ons (e.g., packing or storage). Prices are in USD and may adjust for undisclosed items or access challenges. No hidden fees—everything is detailed upfront.

Preparation and Packing Rules

Proper preparation protects your belongings and prevents delays.

1. Client Responsibilities: Ensure all items are accessible and ready. Prohibited items (e.g., hazards, perishables—see our separate policy) must be handled separately. Valuables like jewelry or documents should be transported personally.
2. Packing Standards: If self-packing, use quality materials; we can supply them. For our full packing service, our trained team uses protective wraps and boxes. Self-packed items have limited liability.
3. Inventory and Valuation: We conduct a detailed inventory walkthrough. Choose from Released Value coverage ($0.60 per pound) or Full Value Protection (additional cost with deductibles starting at $250).

On-Site and Transport Protocols

1. Access Requirements: Provide clear entry/exit paths, elevators if needed, and parking permits. Delays from site issues incur hourly fees of $75.
2. Pet and Child Policies: For safety, keep pets and children supervised and away from work zones. We suggest alternative care during loading/unloading.
3. Conduct Rules: No smoking, open flames, or unauthorized equipment handling on-site. Our crew follows health and safety protocols, including sanitization.

Delivery and Post-Move Terms

1. Delivery Timelines: Local moves are typically same-day; interstate vary (3-21 days based on distance). We’ll update you on any delays due to weather or traffic.
2. Inspection and Claims: Check items upon arrival and note damages on the bill of lading. Submit claims within 9 months with evidence; we process per federal standards.
3. Payment Completion: Balance due at unloading via cash, check, or card (3% fee). Overdue payments add 1.5% monthly interest.
